The scheduling process is a wizard that helps you schedule a broadcast/campaign on the selected list(s) and criteria. In this article, we’ll read about how different options will affect the sending process.

Prerequisites
- Cron should be running
- A Sending Domain must have been added
- A Contact List with at least one contact inside
- A Broadcast must have been created
- A functional Sending Node
Schedule
Navigate to the Schedule page and you’ll see a wizard consisting of four steps.
Step 1: Initial SetupFields

Step 2: Content
Select a broadcast or multiple broadcasts. If you select multiple broadcasts, it will be sent in rotation.
Step 3: Sending InfoFields

Sending Sequence | Radio | Batches: Cherub feeds messages to the sending node in batches and rotates sending node after batch completion Note: You can set the batch size in Application Settings Loop: Cherub feeds messages to the sending node one by one and for multi-selected sending nodes, it rotates after every email. |
Sending Node Selection | Radio | Sequential: Cherub picks up the sending node for the next batch in sequence order (by node ID, in case of multiple selections) Random: Cherub selects the sending node for the next batch randomly (from the selected sending nodes) |
Sending Domain | Radio | As per Sending Node: Cherub will use the sending domain that has been selected in the Sending Node. Custom Selection: Select from the list of Sending Domains. Multiple selections will put sending domains in rotation |

Threads | Number of parallel processes to run Note: In enhances the sending speed |
Hourly Speed | Set the hourly speed of email sending. It will throttle the feeding process to MTA and spread over 60 minutes |
Insert Unsubscribe Link | Inserts a unique unsubscribe link in the footer of the HTML body of the email |
Track Opens | Track opening of the HTML emails |
Track Clicks | Track all links that are being clicked Note: It replaces the destination URL with the tracking domain being used |
Skip Duplicates | It checks for duplicate emails before starting the campaign and skips the duplicate contacts found. Note: However Cherub doesn’t allow to store duplicates contacts within the same list but there is a possibility of having duplicate emails in different lists |
Sender Information | Sender information indicates who the email is coming from e.g sender’s name, email address, reply-to, return-path. From Contact List: It will fetch the sender details from Contact List details From Sending Node: It will fetch the sender details from Sending Node details Custom: Insert custom Sender Information |
